The Five Wishes
March 24 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
A Special Stewardship Event on March 24 at 12 noon in the Herbster Room.
Presented by the Stewardship Team. Facilitated by Ruth Hopkins!
It brings tremendous peace of mind to know that your health care wishes will be respected in the event you can’t speak for yourself. So why have only one in five Americans completed an advanced directive or living will?
Five Wishes is America’s most popular living will because it’s written in everyday language and helps people express their wishes in areas that matter most -the personal and spiritual in addition to the medical and legal. Five Wishes covers:
-The person I want to make care decisions for me when I can’t.
-The kind of medical treatment I want or don’t want.
-How comfortable I want to be.
-How I want people to treat me.
-What I want my loved ones to know.
At this workshop, you will receive your own copy of the Five Wishes document, and learn how to complete it.
It is imperative that we have an accurate sign up for this event. Please sign up on the sign up table in the main hallway by March 17. A light lunch will be provided; donations accepted but not required.
